purpose
The HLQ2 dual power automatic transfer switch (hereinafter referred to as the transfer switch) is suitable for dual power supply systems with AC 50Hz, rated working voltage of 400V, rated working current of 800A and below. It can be operated automatically or manually to complete the conversion between the common power supply and the backup power supply, thereby ensuring the reliability of user power supply. This conversion switch is mainly used in important occasions such as hospitals, shopping malls, banks, chemical, metallurgical, high-rise buildings, military facilities, etc.
This product complies with the GB/T14048.11-2002 IEC60947-6-1 (1998) standard for Automatic Transfer Switching Electrical Appliances.
operational condition
1. The installation altitude shall not exceed 2000 meters.
2. The upper limit of the ambient temperature shall not exceed+40 ℃, the lower limit shall not be lower than -5 ℃, and the 24-hour average shall not exceed+35 ℃.
3. The relative humidity of the atmosphere should not exceed 50% when the surrounding air temperature is+40 ℃. At lower temperatures, there may be higher humidity, and it should be considered that humidity changes can cause condensation on the surface of the product.
4. The medium has no explosive hazard, and there is no gas or dust that can corrode or damage the insulation.

5. A place without significant shaking or impact vibration.

Model and meaning

Basic structure
The automatic power transfer switch is mainly composed of a power transfer execution circuit breaker. The switch has three status positions for users to choose from: common power (N) on, double off, and backup power (R) on. The switch has the advantages of small size, light weight, stable operation, and easy use.
Installation and usage methods
When wiring, the common power supply N should be connected to the common power supply executing circuit breaker QN, and the backup power supply R should be connected to the backup power supply executing circuit breaker QR. When QN and QR are four wire circuit breakers, the wiring method follows the wiring diagram, where QN and QR's 1, 3, and 5 are the three-phase (A, B, C) incoming terminals, 2, 4, and 6 are the three-phase outgoing terminals, 7 is the neutral wire (N) incoming terminal, and 8 is the neutral wire outgoing terminal. If a three pole circuit breaker is selected, the neutral wire NN of the common power supply (N) and the neutral wire NR of the backup power supply (R) must be connected to the three pole dedicated neutral wire terminal KG at the same time. Please refer to the wiring diagram for specific instructions. The working power supply of the dual power switch automatic controller is taken from the input terminals A and neutral wires N of circuit breakers QN and QR. If a three pole circuit breaker is selected, the neutral wires NN and NR must be connected. The dedicated neutral terminal of the three pole wiring is located between the two circuit breakers. During the installation of the automatic power transfer switch, do not use, break or short-circuit the original connection between the circuit breaker input terminal and the local controller wire.
operation
Manual operation can be used regardless of whether the common power supply and backup power supply have voltage. When operating manually, the manual automatic button should be placed in the manual operation position. When the handle is pushed clockwise to the terminal, the backup power supply will open the circuit breaker QR, and the common power supply will close the circuit breaker QN; When the handle is rotated counterclockwise to the terminal, the backup power supply will close the circuit breaker QR, and the common power supply will open the circuit breaker QN.
In the panel, the power indicator light (red) is not on. If the light is not on, it indicates that the working power supply of the automatic control box is faulty and the switch cannot be operated. After the repair is normal, place the manual automatic button in the automatic position. If the common power supply is normal, the switch will automatically put the common power supply into operation to execute the QN closing state of the circuit breaker, and the N power indicator light (yellow) on the panel will light up; If the common power supply is not working properly, the switch will automatically switch to the backup power supply QR, and the backup power supply R indicator light (green) will turn on.

5. The load capacity cannot exceed the rated position of the switch, otherwise it will cause the switch to trip or burn out.
6. It is not allowed to mistakenly connect the neutral wire (n) to the phase wire. When using a three pole circuit breaker for both circuit breakers, the neutral wires of the common power supply NN and the backup power supply NR should be connected to the first pin (n) of the wiring terminal KG at the same time, otherwise it will cause damage to the switch. The grounding wire should be reliably connected to ensure safe use.
7. It cannot be directly installed for outdoor work, otherwise it will shorten the service life or cause adverse reactions.
8. It cannot be directly installed in flammable, explosive, humid, vibrating, impact and other places. Otherwise, it will shorten the service life or cause the product to burn and explode.
9. It cannot be directly installed in places with conductive dust or metal wire intrusion, otherwise it will cause product damage or mechanical failure
10. All requirements in the sample should be met, otherwise the service life will be shortened.
